The problem

Esoteric study material usually arrives as a flat diagram with a glossary underneath. Here the structure carries the meaning, so the interface had to make that structure something you move through.

What we built

Decisions That Mattered

1.

Build the descent

A combined pan, zoom, and descent system maps depth of magnification to depth of interpretation, so moving closer to a node moves further into its commentary.

2.

Give the interface weight

A parallax cosmos backdrop, a momentum-driven prayer wheel, and gematria values that count up on reveal. The motion carries the subject matter instead of decorating it.

3.

Rotate the builders

Eleven implementation tasks were specified once and dispatched across Claude, Codex, and Grok in rotation, each with the same acceptance criteria and its own tests. The specification is the artifact. The model that types is an implementation detail.

4.

Test the logic, not the pixels

Tree traversal and prayer-wheel physics are pure functions with unit tests. The rendering layer stays untested on purpose, because the parts worth protecting are the ones with rules.

What this demonstrates

Subagent-driven development: one specification, several model families, verifiable acceptance criteria.
